Well I've finished page 2 of Kustom Krafts SAL Autumn Grandeur. (Sorry for the hoop marks...but I love using them and will iron the project once it is completed)

QS-Rose-Anderson a HAED
Well this is my first attempt at an HAED. Actually my second...the first one got abandoned after I completed only 1/2 of a page. My goal is to actually finish this one. This is a Quick Stitch so it has a lot less pages than an actual HAED design. Yet, there are still MANY color changes and I feel like it takes me forever to get any stitching done. I have been working on this piece for over a month and I still don't have one page done yet. I am stitching this on 25 ct. White Dublin 2 over 1.
This is also my first attempt at parking threads...not sure if I like this method or not just yet. =)

I know it doesn't look like much now...but it will be fun to watch the pattern grown into a beautiful masterpiece! I have stitched this piece on 14 ct. Khaki Aida 2 over 1.

First Finish Of 2011
This pattern is Snowman & Bunny from Leisure Arts Fast & Festive 50 Christmas Designs Copyright 2010 p. 13. This was stitched on 14 ct. Aida stitched 1 over 1 with DMC floss used throughout. 3 strands for the cross stitch and 2 strands for the backstitch. I am planning on finishing this into a gift bag. That is of course once I learn how to sew =) I'm hoping to learn before the end of the year! To accomplish this goal I just ordered a sewing machine from QVC and can't wait until it arrives. I really should have those shopping channels removed from my TV because they sure can get me into trouble...hehe.

Create-A-Critter Magnets
I purchased this cartridge a few months ago and just love it! These critters are soooo cute!!! So I was thinking...what can I make? Hmmm....so I came up with critter magnets! I made these to sell at a recent craft fair and everyone just loved them.
The Whale Magnet is approx. 4" x 4"
The Monkey Magnet is approx. 3" x 4"
The Fish Magnet is approx. 4" x 2.5"
The Bee magnet is approx. 2.5" x 3"
Can have either female (with pink cheeks) or male (without).
The Giraffe is approx. 2" x 4"
I'm sure I'll be making more critter magnets in the future!! Remember...if you don't see what you like feel free to ask about custom making your favorite critter!

July 4th Candy Bar Sliders
I was inspired by a video I saw on YouTube which can be found by clicking here. So I decided to create my own US Flag candy slider for the larger size hershey bars. They were a hit at my parents fourth of July party this year! Plus they are really quick and fun to make!

Altered Mini Composition Books
Inspired by a YouTube video I saw (which can be found by clicking here) I decided to try and alter some mini-composition books. These mini-composition books are 3” x 5” in size.
No matter which design or colors you choose I believe they are so much nicer than those plain marble covers! There are 2 options: Option 1-Ribbon runs from top to bottom which acts as a decorative embellishment (See above photo) Option 2- Ribbon runs from side to side and makes a bow closure around the book (See photo below).
